Lake Haven Shopping Centre held the 8th annual Community Week event from 22nd February – 28th February 2010.
Community Week is a special event that provides many local charitable groups the chance to raise much needed funds and awareness for their cause. This year, over $11,000 was raised between the 14 community groups that took part in Community Week;

Lake Haven also gave shoppers have the chance to win a $200 Lake Haven gift card by voting for their favourite community group. With overwhelming shopper support, Doggie Rescue was announced as the winner and will receive a $500 donation from Lake Haven. “Doggie Rescue is very active in getting their message across and it’s great to see them get this recognition from their supporters” said Community Relations Officer Aimee Sutherland.
